Dust that  inhaled for a long period of time will be deposited in respiratory tract and cause symptoms of respiratory disorders such as coughing, shortness of breath, or both. This study aimed to identify the factors associated with symptoms of respiratory disorders on workers of Sikatak bridge construction project workers. This research was an observational analytic study using a cross sectional approach in October to December 2019. Samples in this study were taken from all population as many as 50 people with a total sampling technique, total sampling is a sampling technique where the number of samples is equal to the population. Based on interviews, 22 respondents (44%) experienced coughing, 13 respondents (59%) experiencing regular coughs and 9 respondents (41%) experiencing phlegm coughing, asphyxiation as many as 22 respondents (44%), and coughing and shortness of breath as many as 11 respondents (22%) and the majority of workers on the project did not wear masks.Statistical test results found that there was no association at all variable to the incidence of symptoms of respiratory disorders on workers of Sikatak bridge construction project. To avoid the risk of respiratory disorders, it can be done by regulating lifestyle, eliminate the smoking habit, and using personal protective equipment. ER -
