Analysis of Environmental Factors with the Incidence Dengue Hemmorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the Working Area of Public Health Center Mranti, Purworejo Regency
Abstract
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease which the number of cases each year is quite high and fluctuating. DHF caused by the dengue virus and transmitted by mosquito. The purpose of this study was to analyze environmental factors with the incidence of DHF. The type of this research was an analytic observational study with cross sectional approach. The sample were people as many as 74 respondents. This research used univariate and bivariate analysis to analyze the data. The results,39 respondents had a temperature at risk inside the house and 35 respondent had a temperature at risk outside the house. 70 respondents had humidity inside and outside the house at risk as place for mosquito breeding. During the study,103 containers positive larvae and 407 containers negative larvae were found. A total of 49 respondents had risk factors of hanging dirty clothes,36 respondents had dark rooms, and 68 respondents had vegetation as a resting places. The variables that were not related humidity inside the house, humidity outside the house, presence of breeding places, presence of vegetations, Breteaux Index (BI) , and Larva Free Numbers (ABJ). In conclusion, variables associated with the incidence of DHF were temperature inside the house, temperature outside the house, presence of hanging dirty clothes, presence of dark rooms , House Index(HI), and Container Index(CI)
