The RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN QUALITY OF HIV / AIDS SERVICES TO COMPLIANCE ON ANTIRETROVIRAL DRUG CONSUMPTION IN PLHIV PATIENTS: A LITERATURE STUDY
Abstract
The spread of HIV/AIDS is a serious threat to human life. In Indonesia, it is a health problem that must be treated intensively. The high mortality of people with HIV / AIDS is due to the management of patients who have not been optimal, so it is necessary there is a systematic, comprehensive and quality control effort. Improving the quality of health services for people living with HIV/AIDS must continue to be implemented in order to build better services in achieving patient medication adherence. This study used a literature study design obtained from Google Scholar and was filtered according to inclusion criteria. Articles were selected based on publications published between 2018 - 2023 (5 years). With the quality and quality of VCT services and the implementation of PDP support can increase PLHIV compliance in routine antiretroviral (ARV) consumption . This means that the higher the quality and quality of services for PLHIV, the more PLHIV are expected to feel comfortable accessing antiretrovirals at the service. Based on the results of the analysis performed that there are many determining factors relationship quality and service quality in Indonesia with adherence to antiretroviral consumption
