Mapping of Areas Affected by Flood Disasters and Evacuation Routes in Gambir District Based on Geographic Information Systems

Abstract

Floods are one of the most frequent disasters in DKI Jakarta, one of which is in Gambir District. Floods in DKI Jakarta have caused quite large losses every year for the government and affected residents, so mitigation and adaptation efforts are needed, one of which can be attempted through Geographic Information System-based mapping. With the results of mapping affected areas and evacuation routes for residents, it is hoped that it can become a useful source of information for the government and the community, especially in Gambir District, as well as supporting better decision making in handling flood disasters and managing flood-affected areas.
