MOBILE HEALTH LEARNING APPLICATION EVALUATION SCALE DEVELOPMENT
MOBILE HEALTH LEARNING APPLICATION EVALUATION SCALE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Aim: The study aimed to develop a valid and reliable tool that can be used in the multidimensional evaluation of a mobile health learning application.
Method: The research is a methodological research type; it was carried out with 251 people who met the inclusion criteria and were determined by random sampling method. Data was collected with Mobile Health Learning Application Evaluation Scale Form. All the empirical applications were performed in R-Project software using Lavaan, SemPlot and Psych packages.
Results: In the study, Bartlett's Sphericity test result was significant (p<0.05). The KMO value is quite high (KMO>0.9). Two factors explain 72.3% of the total variance. According to the EFA conducted on 18 items, all factor loads are greater than 0.40, there is no cross-loading problem. The sociability values of the items are quite high (>0.30). Scale factors: It is named Instructional Features and Technical Features. AVE and CR values of each factor are satisfactory (CR>0.70, AVE>0.50). The Cronbach Alpha coefficients of the factors were very high (0.967 and 0.899) and all corrected item-total correlations were positive. In CFA, all items were significantly included in two factors (p<0.05). The standardized load values of the items included in the factors are all positive and greater than >0.30.
Conclusion and Recommendations: The improved scale is distinctive in terms of evaluating the educational and technical features of a mobile health learning application. Based on the results of the analysis, the scale, which proved to be valid and reliable, can be used in educational applications and in the evaluation of mobile applications prepared in the field of health and in nursing research.
