Abstract

Work experience, stress, and satisfaction are important psychosocial factors that affect employee productivity. This study
analyzes the relationship between work experience, work stress, job satisfaction,
and employee productivity in a pesticide company. It
involved 357 employees, who were randomly selectedas a sample of 80 employees. The researcher
utilized questionnaires on demographics, Osipow,  Job Descriptive Index, Hersey, and Goldsmith. The
multiple regression analysis results show that
employee productivity is related to role insufficiency
and role ambiguity. In addition, productivity is
significantly related to supervisory co-workers.
Overall, supervision and coworkers explain 56% of
the level of employee productivity (R2 = 0.56). This
study highlighted the need for improved work
systems in terms of management. Supervisor and
coworker support should be improved to reduce job
stress and increase job satisfaction to achieve
higher employee productivity.
